Report in a module

with one comment

We have a increasing number of modules registered and published in the Forge but none of them was related to reports.

To solve this issue, yesterday I published the Sample Report module. This is a simple Product List without any filter, a simple proof of concept on how to develop a report in a module. Basically is the same How-to you can find in the wiki.

Cheers.

  1. This is really helpful…

But what would be even more helpful is a how-to on how to modify an existing form or report for an Openbravo object. I’m referring to the form for a Sales Order, Invoice, PO, etc, that is displayed when you click the Print icon in Openbravo. The most common activity we have in implementing openbravo is to modify packing lists, invoices and so on, and I have been having difficulties figuring out how best to do this as a module.
